Join Jill & Gabrielle on a magical adventure to the Sacred Valley in Peru. Journey deep into the heart of the Incan mysteries and the incredible spiritual cities of Cusco, Pisac and Aquas Calientes. Visit a wonder of the world, the ancient city of Machu Picchu and connect to Pachamama, sacred Earth energy, anchored with daily yoga practices and meditation. Space very limited!

18th) Day 1 – Lima. – Take off! Fly into Lima; taxi to Hotel, dinner or snacks, Goodnight! (Prepare to fly into Cusco next morning).
19th) Day 2 – Cusco – Grab Hotel breakfast, check out, flight into Cusco! Taxi pick-ups and check into rooms; drink your coca tea to avoid altitude sickness! We settle in, orientation, introductions and info. Set intention for our time together. Group walk down to the Centro Historico, choose your own place for lunch (we’ll go off in little groups) and then meet up for a walking tour to explore some local artisan markets; possible trip to the Traditional Plant Museum in San Blas. Back to our flat for a little rest time; late afternoon yoga optional. Meet up for a pisco tasting before dinner; very simple meal provided. Time to watch the sunset from our balcony; you have the option to go out and explore and/or get dinner on your own. Please be back in and lights out by 10:00 pm so you can be ready for tomorrow! 20th) Day 3- Cusco – Morning Yoga/meditation (always optional); simple breakfast provided; get ready to explore Cusco! Morning trip to visit Korikancha (the Inca Temple of the Sun) and Santo Domingo Church and Convent (guided tour). Walk down to huge market to explore local craftspeople and their stalls. Lunch at the delicious Mr. Soup. Back to our flat to rest; late afternoon hike or taxi to Sacsayhuman and a visit to the Christo Blanco statue. Walk down the mountain (or take a taxi). Dinner on your own, explore all of the incredible options in Cusco; please be home by 10:00 pm. Dream sweet!
21th) Day 4 – Cusco/Calca – Morning yoga/mediation, breakfast. Pack up and get ready to travel to Calca! Gorgeous ride through the countryside, notice the traditional Puccara Bulls, pottery bulls placed side by side with a ladder and a cross that blesses the Apus (Inca Mountain Gods). Settle into shared rooms, wander the property and soak up the beauty! Welcome lunch! Free time for journaling, tarot readings with Jill, siesta time. Group fire pit ritual and offering to Pacha Mamma, star gazing; light dinner/snacks available. Sweet dreams.
22nd) Day 5 – Calca – Morning yoga/mediation. Breakfast, get ready to adventure, visit to the incredible Pisac ruins. Be ready for some real hiking and tricky pathways; wear appropriate shoes and layers of clothing. Make sure you are hydrated and wear your sunscreen! We’ll have coca leaves to chew to avoid altitude sickness. Guided tour of this magical and awe-inspiring place. Down into the adorable hippie town of Pisac; lunch on your own, so many adorable restaurants and shops. Back to home base, free time/processing. Dinner; group fire pit powwow and special attunement ritual to prepare to see one of the great wonders of the world. Maybe time for more tarot before or after dinner. Tomorrow will be a HUGE day, get some good rest! Goodnight!
23rd) Day 6 – Calca – Quick breakfast and pack some snacks for our early pickup and transport to the train station in Ollantaytambo. Vistadome train trip winding through the gorgeous Sacred Valley on our way to the tiny town of Aquas Calientes, the home base for Machu Picchu. Bus trip up the mountain and guided tour of the incredible Machu Picchu citadel. Return to Aquas Calientes, on your own for lunch. Return train trip and transport back to our home base in Calca. Rest, dinner; gather around the fire to process. Goodnight!
24th) Day 7 – Calca – Morning yoga/Mediation/Journaling. Breakfast; morning pick up and a beautiful ride to the Maras Salt Flats; guided tour; home for lunch. Afternoon free time, optional gathering to discuss the many uses of salt for rituals, purification and protection. Dinner. After dinner, optional astrology talk. Group fire pit powwow; sweet productive dreams!
25th) Day 8 – Calca – Relaxed morning; later time for Yoga/Meditation. Breakfast and Group Gathering, sharing thoughts and experiences, maybe some fun partner yoga. Lunch at home or optional late morning trip to Pisac for last minute shopping and lunch on your own at one of sweet little restaurants in town. Back to home base; Dinner; packing up, tomorrow we depart! Group closing ritual thanking Pacha Mamma for our incredible adventure together; Sweet Dreams.
26th) Day 9 – Calca— Morning Yoga/meditation/journaling If time allows. Breakfast, pack up, and clean up; goodbye beautiful Calca; transport to Cusco. Lunch provided; afternoon flights to Lima! Safe travels!

Gabrielle Kidd — Gabrielle Kidd is a 200-hour Uttara teacher graduate(2016). Grateful to be helping guide others unify mind-body-soul connection for over three years now through the powerful practices of yoga. A seeker of the divine, spiritual study, and intentional lifestyle, she believes deeply in the magic and healing that can be experienced through the transformational teachings. Gabrielle encourages students to find their own unique expression through authentically connecting to their inner rhythm, wisdom and breath.
Jill Loftis — Jill Loftis is the founder and owner of Uttara Yoga Studio in Roanoke, Virginia. She has been teaching yoga since 2007 and her spiritual unfolding has included deeper studies as a Kriya Yoga initiate, Barratt Breathwork practitioner and Astrologer. She leads courses into the deeper teachings of yoga and mysticism and offers spiritual counseling, astrology readings, private breathwork and tarot readings. Jill also trains yoga teachers and takes people on yoga adventures! She just recently returned from her second trip to Peru (visiting her daughter who lived in Cusco for five months) and is excited to bring the Uttara community to this beautiful country and these magical, sacred places.
