This class is designed for infants 6 weeks – pre-crawling babies; pre-registration required. Come bond with your child & community in a safe, light-hearted space. Infant massage can enhance parent-child bonding, improve sleep patterns and help relieve body discomforts such as constipation and gas.
Six Week Series
February 28 -- April 4
We will create a psychological momentum that boosts and guides your energies toward healing, mastery and the acceptance of self, others and of our life experience as a whole. You are warmly invited to join this supportive group, coming together with yogic principles and scientifically-based psychotherapy strategies to explore how to connect with and ultimately heal all parts of ourselves, even those parts that we may label as out of our control, undesirable, difficult or even harmful. Each week focuses on a specific psychological experience as related to depression, anxiety, traumatic response, impulsivity, or addictive cravings. Sessions include discussion, movement, guided meditation, music and exploring personal mantra. Aromatherapy and gentle somatic therapy will also be offered. Sessions end with a brief period of silent reflection and journaling.Find out more »
Tara (Becky) will take you on a journey of the senses. While drinking in the sacred sounds of heartbeat and breath, we take that the ability to listen and to feel even deeper within. We tap into that intuitive sense of knowing; how and when to move and when to be still. Allow yourself to reconnect to that sacred animal within, ultimately reminding us how to simply be free both on and off of the yoga mat.Find out more »
How much time do you spend moving towards where you want to be versus being content with where you are? Where can you create space in your life? What would that space allow you to let in? What do you cling to (mentally/physically)? How could letting go of this allow you to let yourself live more fully and deeply? Explore these questions and perhaps begin to work towards answers as you join Tara (Becky) for two hours of exploring the philosophy behind Santosha, the second of the five Niyamas. We will partake in journaling and discussion, and flow through a Vinyasa practice. This will be followed by various practices that encourage finding that place of true acceptance and contentment, including progressive relaxation, visualization, and yoga nidra.Find out more »

An introduction to Yoga for Healthy Aging with active practice of its basic components. What is aging and what are the components to healthy aging? Explore how yoga influences your healthy lifespan through asana, stress management and yoga philosophy. Learn about the four essential physical skills and yoga poses that support these abilities. We will sample some of the practices to illustrate the concepts. The class will close with questions and a restorative practice.

When a woman is living in calmness, radiance, joy and good health, this is the atmosphere in which her baby will enter the world. Yoga helps to create this atmosphere.
This class is designed to help you relax and strengthen your rapidly changing body as you become present with your experience. Yin Yoga is a practice that allows deep release within the body at the level of the bones, joints and connective tissues, such as fascia and ligaments. Poses will be targeted to work with the paths of the energetic
organ meridians that run through our bodies and will include the seven archetypal poses that exercise all of the joints and muscles of your body. Physical release of accumulated tension and patterns occurs through long holds in yoga poses and conscious relaxing of muscles in targeted areas of the body. Energetic healing and awareness comes through breath awareness and observation of sensations, thoughts and feelings.
