An introduction to Yoga for Healthy Aging with active practice of its basic components. What is aging and what are the components to healthy aging? Explore how yoga influences your healthy lifespan through asana, stress management and yoga philosophy. Learn about the four essential physical skills and yoga poses that support these abilities. We will sample some of the practices to illustrate the concepts. The class will close with questions and a restorative practice.
Are you a teacher of any kind? Do you ever wonder how to reach your students on a deeper level? This 2.5-hour guided partner class is intended for individuals and couples interested in cultivating compassion, embodied wisdom and a deeper sense of connection in their relationships. When a woman is living in calmness, radiance, joy and good health, this is the atmosphere in which her baby will enter the world. Yoga helps to create this atmosphere.
This class is designed to help you relax and strengthen your rapidly changing body as you become present with your experience. The class combines yoga stretching and movement, chanting, meditation and deep relaxation with the goal of helping the mother relax and calm herself, connect with her baby, and find the strength within herself to deal with the everyday stresses that come with our busy lives.

Let’s face it, life happens. Sometimes there are difficult circumstances that we don’t feel equipped to handle. Whether you are struggling with intense challenges now, learning to live with an intense history, would like to develop tools for the future, or maybe all three, this class is for you. Suzanne will share personal stories and successes from her own life experiences, including the tragedies and the triumphs. She will teach tips and tricks for how to survive the falling downs and the getting back ups of life with grace and gratitude. You can’t change your story, but you can choose what you do with it.
