Contentment from Within with Tara (Becky) Eschernroeder
March 2 @ 2:00 pm - 4:30 pm$75 – $95
How much time do you spend moving towards where you want to be versus being content with where you are? Where can you create space in your life? What would that space allow you to let in? What do you cling to (mentally/physically)? How could letting go of this allow you to let yourself live more fully and deeply? Explore these questions and perhaps begin to work towards answers as you join Tara (Becky) for two hours of exploring the philosophy behind Santosha, the second of the five Niyamas. We will partake in journaling and discussion, and flow through a Vinyasa practice. This will be followed by various practices that encourage finding that place of true acceptance and contentment, including progressive relaxation, visualization, and yoga nidra.
TARA (BECKY) ESCHENROEDER—500 HOUR E-RYT, 200 HOUR E-RYT, RCYT, YACEP
Tara received her 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training under Arlene Bjork and Grace Yoga Training Systems. She obtained her 500 hour RYT through Om On Yoga under the guidance and wisdom of Jennifer Elliott. With Tara no two classes or workshops are ever the same. Students are not told what to do, they are empowered to listen to their own bodies. Traveling is Tara’s home, as she spends much of her time around the country holding workshops, retreats, and classes.
Tara openly and outwardly lives the teachings she has been inspired to share. Just as she would encourage a student falling out of a pose to take themselves lightly, she does the same as she navigates through challenges. She approaches life with love, and she encourages each person with whom is comes in contact to do the same.
