Part I of our adventure begins on June 19 in Glasgow, exploring this beautiful city and its rich history for a couple days. We’ll take a yoga class in town, and you can spend your time doing whatever you like — whether it is shopping, visiting historic sites or museums.

On June 21 we take off, visiting Loch Lomond on our way to the Eco-Lodge, our incredible yoga retreat center for twice daily yoga and meditation and delicious vegetarian cuisine. The Eco-Lodge is completely off the grid and includes a wide variety of water therapies. Check it out at EcoYoga.org! Time here includes a trip to Kilchurn Castle and plenty of time to read, rest, hike and enjoy.

While here, we will be exploring the ancient sites at Kilmartin Glen, standing stones, and other ancient Celtic and Christian mysteries. This part of the journey wraps up on June 25 in Oban, a beautiful sea-side town and home to Oban Distillery, where we’ll tour and sample a wee bit of whiskey. Part I of the journey ends and you can either head back to the USA, take off to explore Scotland on your own, OR join us for Part II of our adventure to the magical Isle of Skye.

Part II begins with more exploration in Oban, a trip to the Isle of Mull, and onto Iona. Then we head to the magical Isle of Skye, with a visit to the Eilean Donan Castle and time in Portree. We’ll take trips to various sites on the Trotternish Loop, including the Talisker Distillery and Kilt Rock. The adventure then moves back down through the mainland, we’ll drive through the incredible scenery of Glencoe, take a cruise on Loch Ness, and finish in Edinburgh with a day to explore.

We will return June 30 via train from Edinburgh to Glasgow, in time to be at the airport by noon for flights home (or trip continuation if you wish!).

You can choose to do just the first part of the journey, or both parts of the journey!
